My Values

A hotel is built on details most guests never consciously notice, but always feel. These are the principles I try to bring to the work, and to this blog.

Attention to detail. The right rate code, the right seating arrangement, the right greeting — small decisions, compounded, are what separate good service from forgettable service.

Discretion. Some of the most interesting parts of this industry are also the ones you can’t fully talk about — VIP requests, delicate negotiations, the moments a guest trusts you to simply handle. I respect that line, always.

Genuine hospitality over performance. Scripts have their place, but real hospitality happens the moment a script runs out.

Cultural fluency. Every guest — and every colleague — brings a different set of expectations. Reading that correctly is half the job.

Continuous learning. This industry rewards curiosity. I’m still learning it, and I suspect I always will be.

Elegance without excess. In design, in service, and in writing — I’d rather do less, but well, than more and loudly.
